Hey Daggerwin, with loans, it's entirely realistic for you to refinance your existing loan into a new one.
If you have $22, 500 remaining on the existing loan and need $52, 000 for the windrower - you could take out a loan for $74, 500 and pay out the existing loan. The bank would be perfectly happy, as you have sufficient security (the vehicles/tools being purchased, plus you have land, tractors, etc...) so it would be a good option!

I also think you should take the loan(s) out over longer - like 3 years? The repayment on 74k would remain about the same as it is now (~$2, 200 roughly?) to give you some breathing room as you get established!

Possible mods for realism (it depends on what you want):
- Easy Change Transmission --> Use the joystick and do manual shifting for some vehicles. CVT is still 'automatic', but the older or other manuals can be done manual and with powershift. It adds to the gameplay, but it won't really show on video maybe.
- Rain pain -> this really adds realism for me! I recently had hay turn back into grass again, when it rained on the hay. Challenging to get the timing right of the mowing, tedding and windrowing. But that's how it is in real life.
- No more autolift
- Manual combine unload
- Real Three Point Attacher - for more realistic movement of the implements
- Real Dirt Color + Real Dirt Color Tracks + Real Dirt Fix + Real Dirt Particles - for more realistic looking dirt on vehicle and tracks on the ground
- REA22 Dynamic dirt. If you really like a challenge: REA22 Implements and REA22 Wheels, but those are a bit too much for me. They limit you tractor power based on the conditions (wet ground makes it a lot heavier for the tractor).
- Slip destroys fields (when tires slip, crop is damaged/removed). It is damaging the field a bit too much (wide) for me, but see if you like it.
- Silo filltype limiting (only one type per silo)

Hey Daggerwin, since you'll be playing mostly in first person you could really use the mod "adjustable mirrors". That way you can set up the mirrors of each vehicle so they actually help you to back out from buildings and see what's around you.

This is a bit unrelated, but I still am playing FS19 and I am doing my own version of Daggerwin's No Man's Land Survival Roleplay. I started off just as he did. Hard economy, the same equipment, and no cash. I currently still only have the 1 plot of land, I have 3 big fields on it and a dinky one. I have a Combine (not the one from his series because you can't use third party mods on fs19 anymore), a 110HP John Deere 4wd tractor, the same direct driller/fertilizer he has, two sprayers he has, one for liquid fertilizer, one for herbicide. You are supposedly able to unload things from your sprayers and seeds and such from drills, but for some reason that's not working for me, and a 6M cultivator for creating new fields along with all the same Massey equipment and the old Massey tractor. I am earning a good amount from my crops, but now I want to think about creating a town on the map. I'd like to add in a BGA and other productions, but I am trying to figure out when exactly to make that move. I can't afford to buy a BGA right now, they are pricey, so it would be like the government or a big company moving in to take advantage of the massive amount of natural resources. I would then be making a ton of money off of silage. It seems like it would be too soon for that jump for me. I am thinking that maybe once I earn enough to buy a new plot of land, maybe that's the time the BGA would move in, and then slowly other productions as I can afford to put the equipment up for them.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I like rounder-round bales for realism, small mod on the modhub but makes wrapped round bales mroe realistic.

Leave the field as grass and buy a new flatter one when you can afford it for cropping

As far as realism goes with mowing, as a kid I would help bail hay for the farmers in my area and they would cut everything from the fence line into the drainage ditches. The bails that came from the unplanted areas that might be a bit weedy we separated from the field bails. The farmers sold those bails cheaper because of the lower quality.

You should use the swatter on the back of the krone when making silage to make it easier to mow

Ik it's a bit early but I'd recommend using the class medion on this map, I think it's a part of the dominator pack and it'd a nice small cheap combine for this series

Nothing to do ?? Get the Lawn mower and the String trimmer and clean up around the place.
That adds realisms to the
Trailer Mow COUNTER clockwise, cut right up to the Fence/boundary line, get the whole area.

I believe the swather is intended to alternate when the back is dropped to combine windrows.
