Good morning to you guys. Nice shooting. Just wanting to point something out to you. It is ecological. In this area of the desert there is a soil call Cryptobiotic soil it is literately the duck tape for the desert. Check this out it is really important even in winter. This "crust" holds the sand down REALLY with so many people going to this area (not naming on purpose) this soil is getting seriously damaged. I have lived here for the past 30 years and we locals are really conserned. So I do not dispute what you are doing. Just check out your impact please. Stay on the rocks if you do not have rock to walk on or drag your equipment then go around this soil it is black, and looks like miniature castles. It is very very old, think of it as old growth for the desert.

Also fyi this is not tundra it is high desert.
