I really like the Yamaha ttr230 it's perfect for where I would be riding it is this a comparison to another bike as and Top Speed and Performance? Biking also tune the TTR to be way what makes faster different gearing different exhaust modifications so on but I'm getting older and don't need to fly around a hundred miles an hour LOL jumping over cars like I used to be able to back in the day literally, but I'm older now and need something happy and dependable looks like a great bike and a great price for it any other suggestions for a bike of this Calibre lateral bike about this size and price for the bang-for-your-buck I've been out the motorcycle game quite a while now my last motorcycle or actually was an ATV was a 2011 I think banshee that was ridiculous to ride stretched chromed-out basically useless except for on a road

I got my ttr230 to 60mph (97kph) on a dirt road. It can definitely go faster on the street.

65mph I passed someon on a drz 250 going 0ver 100kmph so I would say around 115kmph going on a slight dounword slope

Just got a TTR 230 few months ago and the sucker is a lot of fun but it's cold nature'd as heII. If it's 60-65 outside it takes it a good 5 minutes to start and pulls the battery way down, if it's 80 outside it fires up in 20 seconds with 2 or 3 hits of the starter... anybody else having this problem?

I don’t understand why my ttr230 and it’s 2011 goes 65 in 5 gear iv never got to 6 gear on the road cause I always have to slow down

A ttr 230 goes way faster then 60 mph because I had a ttr 90 growing up and it went 55 mph

Really disappointing. My 1970 Suzuki TS90 Honcho would do a solid 65mph on the road on level ground. Shows you the difference between a 2-stroke and a 4-stroke.
