How to create a Dynamic Calendar in Worksheet

In this video, we will learn about creating dynamic calendar in Excel. We have not used any macro. This calendar has been created with the help of Excel functions only. It's very simple and easy to create this calendar.

Very nice, easy and simple calendar to create using very simple formulas for the dates. I have followed other videos on creating calendars but they involved cumbersome formulas. This was also easily adaptable to Google Sheets with no problem.


When highlighting the dates that are not the current month I used one simple formula. Selected all the dates and then used this custom formula...


=month(D8)<>month($K$5)

I enjoyed following along with your video and was able to reate a calendar. I personally prefer calendars that start with Sunday and end on Saturday, so I was able to creatwe one that did that using your instructions and making a few changes. I tested it using different calendar months and years and it seemed to work fine. It's really handy for backtracking particular dates! Thank You!
