I actually really related to this one. Believe it or not I’ve never felt I had the personality to fit in on YouTube… like at all… and I often still feel that way, and have resigned myself to do it my own way or my own terms…

I wish I could tell you the feeling you're feeling goes away. It doesn't. I'm almost 50 and my life has been really similar in a lot of ways. Much love.

Me watching Sara thinking she is so aesthetic and so on top of everything and together, while my life is a chaotic mess. Sara my life is chaotic too. I feel validated lol

As someone with ADHD I felt like you were describing me. If you're trying to find answers maybe you can get yourself checked out! I can also relate with that hyperfocus on something new either a new hobby or a new interest and then dropping it cold turkey after a while.

Love that you shared this! It’s so easy to feel “in a slump” when watching all of the super productive and hustle YouTube channels, but everyone is different and has different journeys! I’m very similar in terms of motivation and getting OBSESSED with things. I get waves of motivation at inconsistent times, but when I do I am FULLY SUCKED IN to what I’m working on/learning about/doing. Sometimes it’s a blessing, sometimes it’s a curse 😅 Anyways, thanks for sharing your perspective and wisdom! 🤙🏽

This is oddly exactly what I needed to hear today. Sara, you’re still a flippin role model, perfect or not. I love the content, the passion, the honesty—all that stuff. Keep it up. Or, ya know, keep doing what you love, whatever that is.

Absolutely relate! I definitely agree with wanting to get better and grow in certain areas, but this was so refreshing to hear that a huge part of that scattered and passionate personality is absolutely okay and being at peace with it is something I'm trynna do. It is hard when there are people close to you who are critical and sometimes super judgy about it.

Gosh! How refreshingly honest! Loved it🧡 would definitely say that the burn out phase is due to the sprints, achievement comes with consistency and for that you could use the sprint "mindset" in shorts periods of time and forcing yourself to stop after x amount of hours work (speaking out of personal experience here as well😅) I have definitely been there and it works! I was amazed, truly couldn't believe how much happier I was not putting that pressure on achieving things immediately which I think is unrealistic when trying to find your vocation or growing a new habit. Lot's of love and encouragement!!😘😘

Thank you so much for sharing your messy life! It always feels like others on the internet have their lives completely 100% together and that's definitely not the case. Appreciate you being vulnerable!

Peachy, I relate in so many ways as a fellow procrastinator. However, it is a sign of growth that you are able to do some self examination and find out strengths and weaknesses and more importantly, courses of action to remedy those gaps. Good on ya for being willing to put yourself out like that...and you got a video out of it!

I love that you get scatter brained sometimes. It feels really genuine. I squirrel all the time in the middle of a thought.. you’re definitely not alone!

Sarah I’m THE EXACT SAME!! THANK YOU so much for creating this video ♥️ I love being an obsessed all-nighter who gets crazy passionate about different things. It’s been a big reason that I’ve found happiness and success so far in what I do. But as you say, the journey is never over!! Also, big +1 to waking up at 10AM 😅

This resonated so much with me. I feel like my brain works the same way. Explore, obsess, go all in, then get over it and look for the next. Thanks for this video. Love following your journey

As a current ELEC major, heavy procrastinator, and bouts of hyperfocus, thank you Sara for sharing your experience. It's refreshing to see someone like you being honest online; you're an inspiration to me and others :)

I feel this so much! Being able to identify my compulsive need to be creative/productive and then convince myself that I deserve a mental break from that mindset has been hugely helpful as I figure out what really makes me happy.

I don't want to be the guy diagnosing ADHD over the internet. All I will say is that I have ADHD and you just described my life perfectly. Especially the procrastination and obsessiveness to work the entire night on projects that might never even see the light of day 😊
