Man charged in shooting of RCMP officer in Coquitlam, B.C.

A man has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder with a firearm after an RCMP officer was killed in Coquitlam, B.C., on Friday. Two other officers were also injured.

This is a serious question. Why do we have RCMP when people are being offered hard drugs at places of work? I can't stand the direction BC has gone. We are policing ourselves, they don't respond or follow up when its something serious anymore. I tried reporting my employers and I left two jobs in Penticton but nothing is done about open meth use and my bosses getting kids to smoke it the first time. I'm hoping somebody messages me or looks into this, as a landlord in BC we are ALL completely screwed.

My guess is that the shooting wasn’t about the drugs since that seems to be mostly legal now but about the illegal firearms the guy had. That will get him some serious time. Just guessing the gun or guns were illegal but they most likely are.
