I missed Gura's block but when I found out she made it to the finals my jaw dropped. I was very happy, she did very well

And to think if Gura was a little bit luckier (or less unluckier depending on your perspective), she could've gotten to 3rd place if she didn't get "mario karted" and dropped from 1st place to 12th place in one of the final races, and on the final lap as well.

She's being very humble. I saw the whole thing and her lines were pretty sick. She was always very close to the inside in curves. She can improve in getting some of harder shortcuts, but she got the drifting almost perfectly.

The stars really aligned for Gura in that day.. She played really good and mostly at ease when I saw her stream during group B qualifier. Very few mistakes, good items, and almost never miss any shortcut. Just brilliant

Miko was consistent on her play in the finals and consistent on placing 4th and 5th. Sad that Gura didn't stream during the finals, cuz I really wanted to see her pov.

Honestly, I knew Gura could place in the winner's bracket; I just wasn't sure how she stacked up to the rest of the best.
And honestly, she'd have placed 3rd with a bit more luck.
I'm still super proud of Gura for how far she's come; I remember in her early kart streams, she barely knew how to drift and didn't know how to hold items behind her.
