I adore this series, yet had never really thought about the fact that the characters never really age. However, I was recommending these books to a friend just the other day and told her that she could just jump in with any of the novels -- they really do stand on their own! So glad Ms. Leon backs me up :)

Good filming but lacks real Italan flavor compared to something like Montablano.
