We have Abhijit Chavda, an all-star that returns on The Ranveer Show. This is another geo-political special episode but from the Indian Political environment.

In this episode, we spoke about the two ways of ruling any country - democracy, and dictatorship, how country citizens should look at their governments from the long-term perspective and the current scenario of the Indian Political Environment.

Globally, audiences overall have become way more aware of political environments, Indian politics, however, is something we covered for the first time on TRS. Hope you enjoyed this episode.

Epistocracy may work for India..epistocracy is a controlled gradual democracy where voter gets gradual voting rights after passing exams ...Which acts as screening system...To keep away politically illiterate voters from voting

I disagree completly, India's long term success will come from its "chaotic system" bcz it in the end balances things out. India had the worst start from where the British left it in 1947 but has comes leaps and bounds in 75 years just considering its diversity and the challenges it faces. A Presidential system would be too strong at the center and that itself would cause more issues and negate any decision-making benefits; the nightmare the US two party system is pretty clear, they are always in election mode. Indian democracy needs more deepening, it is one of the better-written and adaptable constitutions. Doesn’t matter which party wins, it will need to have a democratic mandate across a vast and diverse country

I guess parliamentary system is better but it required reformation in this system according to the scenarios. What we require in our system is the need of education to every citizens of India related to politics, geo politics, awareness about election.

Your idea of a presidential system scenario in India can be good if president with good ideas in mind is elected only which is not always possible
As in presidential system scenario presidents can't be removed in between there tenures then what is the possibility that every president will think for nation more his own needs.
It can affect the super structure and the base structures also.
The only benefit of this system is there will be quick decision making procedure in system . Also we came this far from that initially independent India in economics and several terms with parliamentary system only. Just my opinion btw you know better✌️

I think government should work like private companies. Every year you have a performance review and if you haven't delivered results in the last year you will be laid off. Maybe make it once every 2 years instead of once

It's amazing how people have been convinced to believe dictatorship is better than democracy. Illiteracy is really the biggest threat to our country. Honestly, media and youtubers are the bigger reason i would say, people are used to listening to other peoples opinion instead of critically thinking and forming their own opinions.

Never seen someone advocating dictatorship like this.
Why doesn’t he gives example of North Korea?

I highly disagree. The kind of leadership we have in our political system, we cannot even imagine the damage they will be capable of doing if they are given the power exercised by the president in a presidential system. Joe Biden himself is an example of one person messing so much.

Additionally, much wiser minds have already debated on this and even now their arguments stay strong, anyone interested please refer to the Parliamentary debates. Its a goldmine if you want to seek knowledge.

well there is a reason why we don't have presidential form of government; our entire system of governance is designed on the basis of check and balances, so that no one ever holds an absolute power into their hand and it gives everyone a voice into our country's decisions. yes we need more efficient system of decision making and it has been highly evolved in past few year.

i also disagree completely with abhjeet sir according to my opinion parliamentary government is good for india because there is very much difference between usa and india . india is a diverse country with different religion and culture for that reason every state should have their own culture government so people will be more cooperative with government

A parliamentary system is actually better for India. Just look at the oppositions choice of PM candidates. A bureaucracy which stalls things is actually good. Prevents too much harm.
