Rev. Trudy's Friday message 9-20-2024: Our Money Story – Reimagine

Join @FirstChurchSanDiego this Sunday as we continue thinking about "Our Money Story."

We'll be looking at the story of Jesus watching rich people give a portion of their wealth to the temple collection and a widow who gave all of her coins. We often look at this story to compare the giving of the rich with that of the poor – are we demonstrating our faith or are we just checking a box? But there's more to this story than just an either or question. This story invites us to dig deeper and to use our imagination.
