I feel the same way about California as Doug feels about South Africa. I got caught up in the 2020 riots - looters hit my building while I was outside walking the dog - it was a scary dark chapter in our history - that no one really seemed to be bothered by. That's scary. California is the most beautiful state, but its going in the wrong direction in every measure.

My sister loved horses and rode them quite a bit. When she turned around 19 she became a quadriplegic from riding. She still loved horses though 15 years later. I also worked at the international polo club in Wellington fl for a while. People getting killed while playing was not common but did definitely happen. Never understood why the rich love them so much. Taking care of them seems like a money pit.
