Obviously higher prices, min wage increase, plant closures, flights cancelled, mfg closures, covid safety will all cause costs to go up. The more restrictions/regulations we have the higher the costs. Don’t complain It’s basic economics.

Grocery stores are gouging like crazy. I save a lot of money shopping at Saint Lawrence market, and fruit and vegetable stands locally. Cleaning supplies etc. I pick up at Walmart. Stay out of the grocery stores

i can not afford to pay more expensive food at food baiscs super market every night i go to sleep hungry because i can not afford to eat dinner me and my family are not the only ones in this problem milliones of canadian families are in the same problem as us canadian families need to protest in the streets of canada to demand for food prices to lower down at supermarkets like food baiscs this can not countinue whats next skip lunch and dinner and eat only breakfast one slice of toasted bread and water as a meal for the whole day for an adult in the country like canada of the plenty this can not continue people in canada

That is so true, I used to buy jamaican sweet potato, the price now is $ 4.99 a pound. I believe it's a good kind of sweet potato.
