The Missing: Zachary Bernhardt's family won't give up hope

Zachary vanished from his Clearwater home on Sept. 11, 2000. He was 8 years old.

Complete injustice. His mother is so guilty. She claims to have gone swimming at the apartment complex pool, at 4:30 AM in her clothes with no bathing suit, no towel, nothing? And left her door unlocked. And while she was swimming in her pajamas, somebody came and kidnapped him. Right. Unbelievable.

Confused. According to police reports His mom said she went out for a swim at 4am and came back 15 min later and he was missing. His Aunt said here from what she understands happened his mom went and took the trash out and came back and he was gone. Also, if he was 8 in 2000 then wouldn't he be 28 now and 29 this December? The reporter said he would be 30. In any case, this is heartbreaking and yes there is always hope! Keep talking, keep asking questions and keep getting his picture out there.

Have to wonder why this story news segment is coming out now. Sept will be 21 years. There has been a lot of renewed interest in this disappearance recently. New podcasts and videos. This is a great thing tho. Even after 20 years, people have not forgotten. Just type Zachary Bernhardt into YouTube. Much information ( some that appears to be new) is there.

I know his mom had something to do with his disappearance the cops know his mom had something to do with his disappearance but there’s no evidence to prove that she did it though that’s the problem I hope they who ever took Zachary
