Okay but those performances by Mary Poppins and the Genie were so good like that is improv right there! And how the genie just kept the joke running? 10/10

Aladdin: Was it something I said?
Genie: No, I think it was the beard.
Aladdin: **Nods**

The actor playing as the genie played it exactly how Robin Williams would've played it off... Use what you got to your advantage

I love seeing fails when the actors are able to react and improvise immediately, shows how skills they are.

As a theater kid, this both hilarious and terrifying

Once when my high school was doing a production of the Addams Family, our entire 14 foot tall castle fell over on stage, during the beginning of the show. It almost squashed our Gomez and Mortician. Thankfully the kid playing Gomez has great comedic timing, and with out missing a beat after it fell he just goes “ Ya know, we should really look into getting that fixed”. The audience went wild!

3:16 The combination of him using his leg as a mic and that guy laughing in the background is hilarious

The way Lord Farquaad pulled that off has had me laughing for about 5 minutes now

In our production, in the finale, one of the guys tried doing a knee slide and ended up dislocating his knee. Everyone thought it was part of the act so they just sat there laughing and clapping whilst he was screaming, absolutely traumatising.

The guy playing the Genie deserves a raise!

I was in theater once for Shrek the musical. My favorite “mess up” was when Lord Farquuad walked on stage and realized that he had to waddle over to a character on the other side of the stage (the guy who played him was already incredibly short and was still on his knees). In the 45 seconds it took for him to waddle over, he had to improv the whole time. Taking his time to talk to the audience and crack a few jokes. He really was amazing to work with!

Honestly the Genie one wasn't a fail, that was a win.

A buddy of mine was watching this play, I don’t know what it was called, it was something she saw in Branson. There was this one woman in the audience that kept catcalling one of the characters. It got so bad, the guy eventually broke character and said: ”Lady, you need to get out more!”

3:47 Can we all just give that Jasmine some serious respect for not even missing a beat in the song?
