Anyone descended from the Henry II is ultimately directly descended from Alfred the Great, back through the Empress Matilda, Margaret of Wessex, Edward the Aetheling, Edmund Ironside, Aethelred Unraed, Edgar the Peaceable, Edward the Elder and Alfred. This also means tracing the line back to Cerdic, founder of Wessex and right back to Woden the Allfather.
But the establishment prefer Vikings and especially Normans.

Welcome to your Norwegian family, like you I am also a descendant of Gange Rolf (Rollo in English) It's a little fun to look at you because you could fit right into Norway. His real name is Rolf and the word Gange comes from the word to go. The reason he got that name is that he was so big and strong that no horses could carry him so he had to walk from place to place. (I had to check the family tree but I found you, you are my 22 cousin three times out)

Interesting to see how he developed in speech and behaviour and with his general aura. He looks more royal now, at least in my eyes. It just shows, that if u have a heritage to be proud of, u stopp feeling victimized, poorly and downtrodden. U might be poor but u can still live a fabulous life in the knowledge some of the greatest persons of their ages are related to you.

Both my matrilineal and patrilineal lines are Plantagenet to the Vikings etc.... so I loved watching Danny’s episode bc it’s my family line as well and I loved watching this about my own ancestors!! Eleanor of Aquitaine is my favorite historic royal great grandma!

Viewed the video this afternoon. I am also a direct descendant of Edward III. I mapped out the relationship to Danny Dyer and he is a 16th cousin twice removed. I guess I will have to research his acting credits.
