they actually reverted it back recently and they made a yt short abt it

It's not that they broke it but that it was an unintended feature. They should have kept it as it was either way

They didn't "fix" it, just like they haven't "fixed" anything. OW2 is built on a different engine and everything in OW1 needs to be rebuilt for OW2. It's not as simple as just moving something from one game to the other and I'm sure they would've added more of OW1 if OW2 wasn't rushed to release.

I have seen a Short from PlayOverwatch where they have shown it to be Fixed... Idk if... But we will see
