What head coach Darvin Ham meant to say was he won’t last long because they’re going to use him as the scapegoat and fire him.

Honestly think the coaching decision was the only thing they did right. Defense is an effort thing and they appear to know how to play defense (wasn't always the case with Vogel). They just straight up cannot make shots. A coach can't make you hit wide open shots.

Lakers could be 20 to 22 games below .500 before the new year. There is no saving this roster. Doesn't matter if they got Buddy Hield and Myles Turner without giving up someone. They stink. They won't even get to 30 wins. Forget play-in.

LeBron should sign with the Clippers next summer for the league minimum. Welcome to New Orleans, Victor Wembanyama. The Lakers will win next year's lottery and hand their #1 pick to the Pelicans. Then Pelicans will be in the 2024 NBA Finals.

But hey, while the Lakers mortgaged the next 10 years, they did win that bubble championship. Over a third of the league don't even have 1 title including my LA Flippers. So Laker Nation can find solace they did win that 1 in 2020.
