My very first pair of Kobe sneakers were the infamous Toasters lol. Bought it when it released 2001, and to this day, it's still fully wearable. They're like Foamposites. Built like tanks to last forever. I've loved them since it came out. I have 2 pairs of the Kobe 1 as well. And I love the Fro logo!

I was never a fan of Kobe, probably because I hated the media comparing him to the GOAT (who I grew up idolizing... different generations too). But I definitely respected his game, and I really grew to respect him more after he said, "Everything you like about me I got because of him." And I've recently started to enjoy his shoes. I love some of the colorways his Proto 8s are available in, just so crisp and clean.

My favorite Kobe shoe that I never bought were the Kobe 4. I love them because they were low cuts (the first signature sneakers in recent history). I never bought them because they fit way too narrow. I was bummed out about that.
