A day in Athens exploring the naval battleship Averoff which now functions as a museum and is open to the general public. In 1984 the Navy decided to turn it into a floating museum (Floating Naval Museum Battleship "George Averoff") and transferred it to Faliro. He has been there ever since and honors with his presence the Greek Navy and the naval heritage of Greece. #JiMFilms #dji #averof

Μία μέρα στην Αθήνα εξερευνώντας το πολεμικό ναυτικό θωρηκτό Αβέρωφ το οποίο πλέον λειτουργεί ως μουσείο και είναι ανοιχτό για το ευρύ κοινό. Το 1984 το Πολεμικό Ναυτικό αποφάσισε να το μετατρέψει σε πλωτό μουσείο (Πλωτό Ναυτικό Μουσείο Θωρηκτό «Γεώργιος Αβέρωφ») και το μετέφερε στο Φάληρο. Εκεί βρίσκεται από τότε και τιμά με την παρουσία του το Ελληνικό Ναυτικό και την ναυτική κληρονομιά της Ελλάδος.
