Your Father went to be with the Lord knowing that his daughter is in great hands with an amazing Husband, Children and great friends. I lost my dad five years ago. It seems as if it were just yesterday I was talking to him in his garden. He loved landscaping and worked everyday on his yard. He had a aneurysm one evening, and then he was gone. I miss you and love you dad. Stay strong, we love you guys.

I am also a Vietnam Veteran who learned not to be emotional about death or mourn. I cannot do and say like "normal" people and say "I'm so sorry about your loss" and all the other things that people say because I just became hardened to death.

85% of the men in my family are Veterans also and some have died because of their military service and what I have experienced is that life moves on.

A mormon friend invited me to his family's Christmas gathering one year and I recall my friend's dad saying to me after he introduced his wife, we are the blame for all of this as he spread his arms at all the family there.

Because of your dad, there is so much more life created in you, your children, and at some point, your children's children. Your dad's life continues on and from what I have seen all those little lives have morals and principals that came from your dad through you and into your children. Your dad created so much life.

If I were your dad I would be very proud of the grand children you are raising. I am sure your dad would not want you to cry and be all hurt over his passing. It's kinda like a parent feeling so bad that a child got hurt. So you might consider that your dad feels bad every time you cry because you hurt over his passing.

Michele, I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a father is by far the hardest thing you'll ever know. Sadly, the tears may never stop. I lost my dad in 1990. I was 37. I'm 71 now and still tear up when I talk about my dad. And it's okay. It shows how much you loved him and miss him. One day at a time.

Michelle, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost both of my parents in the Spring of 2023, 5 weeks apart. I am familiar with what you are feeling. It suck's real bad. Time does help. But no one ever gets over a loss of this magnitude completely. Our loved ones remain immortalized in our thoughts and are never truly gone as long as they are remembered.

Michelle, the fact you all allow yourselves to be vulnerable in front if all your youtube family, is the reason Fab Rats is my #1 and will always be my #1 favorite YouTube channel I watch and follow. Allowing yourselves to be vulnerable in front of us all says a lot about you and your family. Allow yourselves to grieve.

I’m a Daddy’s girl too. I lost my Dad in 2012. He was a mechanic and I was very blessed to have some of those genes. You will experience moments where you lose it and just start blubbering but it will get easier. Hugs to you.
