This is the latest assembly and maintenance instructions for the Sawyer Bucket Water Filtration Adapter Systems.

The Sawyer Bucket Filter removes 99.99999% of bacteria and 99.9999% of protozoa and cysts. This easy to use and portable water filtration system can filter hundreds of gallons/liters per day and last over 10 years if properly used and maintained.

Sawyer Water Filters use 0.1 micron absolute hollow fibers that are approximately 75% stronger than other hollow fiber filters on the market which is why the Sawyer filters remove more and last longer.

I used this filter for three months continually on the Appalachian Trail.Worked flawlessly. There was one place on Thunder Mountain that no one would use the water except me and it just worked.

This kit is composed of entirely defective products. I just got a kit online and the threads don't even screw tight to the bucket, causing it to leak. And the adapter that connects to the Sawyer filter leaks as well. They never even tested the products before mass manufacturing them.
