In conversation with Prof. S K Sopory, Former Vice Chancellor, JNU.
Prof. S K Sopory specialised in molecular plant physiology. He did his Ph.D. under Prof. S C Maheshwari, University of Delhi. Prof. Sopory started his career in JNU in 1973. His teaching and research career spans over 40 years and became VC of JNU in 2011. He was conferred with SS Bhatangar award in the year 1987 and with Padma Shree in 2006.
