This is a pretty cool little video, though I would argue that it is the encryption method itself that is complicated not the actual machine itself.

Soooo... what kind of message was being encrypted? I can't believe how hard it is to find this info. Is this a radio message, an electronic message like a telegram, or teletype, or does this spit out a piece of paper for a messenger pigeon or what?
