Why should you send your child to summer camp? Hear from a local parent why she thinks camp is good for your kids and also good for you too.

Now is the time to start thinking about signing up your child for summer camp! Especially because there are more than 3,000 summer camp scholarships available for Palm Beach County children ages 5 to 17. These scholarships cover all summer camp costs and are available on a first-come, first-served basis for families who financially qualify. The deadline is April 12.

The scholarships are through Palm Beach County Youth Services and largely funded by Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County.
