Imagine an AMV of ash with raichu while high road by mastodon plays. That’s what came to mind with this dark path ash could take. The lyrics fit almost perfectly to that scenario.

I like these what if scenarios..This was definitely an intriguing one. I always did wonder if Pikachu had evolved into Raichu. Ash becoming a more arrogant trainer is definitely an intriguing thought... I'd maybe add an intervention half way through or something to that effect. I may use this idea for a future fanfic.

I have been missing out on this episode (and maybe a reason to check out the other videos here?). To be fair I doubt that the show would get past kanto or johto at best if he actually did that or maybe he will get a new pikachu companion (or a friend who has one).

Just my opinion since we clearly can't have a show without one being in the main cast.
