Easily the weirdest part of getting into IT as a profession is realizing the joke about Furries running everything isn’t a joke.

As an artist with many developer friends, this is accurate af, and I wholeheartedly agree with you. I think we need to, as a society, collectively stop giving people who don't understand the ground floor of a business the position of CEO. That extends to politics too. This is a direct result of having unqualified management.

I love that we all collectively decided to still call it twitter

Genuinely, furries have been my best clients (as an artist). They pay on time, they tip well, and they always have complete full color full body references of their ocs and/or fursonas. So yeah, you’re not wrong! Furries do run the internet! And once artists leave, the furries leave, and then the few remaining artists whose clientele just left the site will also leave. I just hope we can all leave faster.

There are 2 rules on the whole internet
1. Dont anger the furries
2. Dont anger the artists for the furries

Thx for the likes ppl. I think there are rules up to 34 sometimes also...

We should’ve learned from Tumblr that taking art away from users kills your website. Granted, that was a completely different situation but it lead to the same result: a shit ton of people leaving your platform for another.

Here’s an idea:
Everyone start posting the green m&m lady with the most random possible captions, and act like the discussion is real.
The AI sees this and relates that image to literally everything, because everyone is posting it under random discussions.

Then when some poor sap asks an ai for “cute dog cartoon digital art” they instead get a picture of the green m&m girl.

Hypothetical: If I make art and post somewhere else, then someone reposts it on Twitter without permission, Twitter will still end up feeding that art to AI models, right? Like legally, I'm sure they can't, but I'm guessing there's no safeguards against something like this?

I want AI to do my laundry and dishes so I have time to write and make art, not make my art and write so all I got is laundry and dishes

Remember: If furries can afford a $2000 -costume- fursuit, they can afford to make you regret messing with artists.

I love furries. They paid my bills on Second Life by buying my content when I had cancer. They have a special place in my heart.
