Could we perhaps stop to throw poor Nicaragua in one category with the US? The reason they didn't sign was because they felt it was too soft, and they themselves already use 90% renewable energy and will be at 100% within the next ten years.

We have lost over half of our marine life in the past 40 years. There is 250, 000 metric tons of plastic in our oceans. Over 1 million seabirds and 10, 000 sea mammals are killed by pollution each year. All coral reefs are projected to be lost by 2050. By 2048 ALL salt water fish are projected to be extinct. 30% of Africa's Elephants have been wiped out. 150-200 species of plants, insects, birds, and mammals go extinct every hour. More than 80% of earths natural forests have already been destroyed. Up to 90% of West Africas coastal rain forests have disappeared since 1900. In the last half decade 30% of the national bee population has been lost. Our beautiful planet is dieing at an alarming rate and we are the ones killing it. We MUST do something about it. Over the past 50 years, the average global temperature has increased at the fastest rate recorded in history. Global sea level has rose about 8 inches in the last century. The rate in the last 2 decades, however, is nearly double that of the last century. 2016 was the warmest year on record since 1880. This is a serious issue whether @realdonaldtrump admits it or not. Don't just look away like he does. Take responsibility and do your part to #savetheplanet before it's too late! Remember guys, there is no Planet B!

The Americans deserve Trump. The rest of the world don't.

Man all these comments😂. America is on line for net zero emissions by 2050 and reductions in the recent years have been outstanding for a nation this large. The Paris accord hasn’t worked, look at China and their ability to wait, they haven’t changed but instead have gotten worse.

Trump working on making China great again!
Well, in fact what he might achieve is that a.) the topic itself gets renewed attention and interest and b.) there will be many initiatives to counter the effects of a US withdrawal. This may even overcompensate the negative effects. LOL. That might be the best thing Trump will ever achieve in his hopefully short-lived presidency!

I apologize to the world on behalf of the 70% of Americans who view Trump unfavorably. Oh, and covfefe ;)

I am a republican, but I am not bias. Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement was selfish and disappointing.

Fine. We won't renegotiate then. With that attitude you won't get another penny from us. We will not pay the lion's share at our countries own expense. Other countries continue to catch up to the U.S economy, and you chose to smirk at Trump's fair share speech at the Nato Summit. Pay for it without us, unless you want to renegotiate.

I think some people here may be using Alex Jones as their only news source. I love how so many of the people that defend Donald Trump have never/barely even listened to him speak. Its not the media making Trump seem racist and ignorant.. its himself. A country should not be ran as a cut-throat business. We are all humans living on the same planet and should be working together for the good of everyone - not against each other for the good of ONE country. I apologize to the rest of the world on behalf of this evil, selfish man.. and all of the ignorant Americans (with the mindset of someone from the 1800's) that put him into office and still try to blindly defend him. #notmyamerica

I see the smirks are now wiped off their faces. They showed a complete lack of respect at the Nato summit. Now they will be forced to offer up a more fair deal where everyone pays their share.

Thanks Trump. Us Californians really appreciate it (Sarcasm intended.). Our state is on fire as I write this. It was indirectly caused by your decision. Our state wants to leave thanks to you.
