Russia, India set to deepen cooperation following Modi's Moscow visit

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Russia on July 8 and 9 for talks with President Vladimir Putin.

The two leaders discussed prospects for further developing bilateral ties as well as international and regional issues and vowed to deepen cooperation across multiple sectors.

Putin on Tuesday awarded Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Order of St. Andrew, Russia’s highest state order.

Modi has confirmed that he will come to Kazan for the BRICS summit this autumn.
