Beautiful Grain Reveal - Woodturning Apple Wood

Welcome to today's woodturning project! In this video i am turning an useless apple log, which turned out to have a beautiful grain. I combined it with gold-brown-ish resin and made a simple but pretty bowl. I finished it with danish oil.

I watch a lot of wood turning videos and too often resin that is dark blue, green, or even black is used and the beauty of the wood grain gets lost. for NOT doing that!! The finished piece was beautiful and showcased the wood, not just the resin! Lovely work! 👍🏽

That turned out so beautiful! I really like the choice of resin colour with that wood. Are the cracks in the branches textured at all, or did they fill with resin?

He missed out the part where he had to guess the centre hole for the driven side. The pot seemed to preserve the Tailstock one.
