To be completely honest I’m already a week or so deep into intern year (this is a scheduled post and not made during clinical duty hours), but for most residency programs around the country, July 1st is the fabled day we all get to join the care teams of thousands of academic hospitals caring for millions of patients. Big shoutout to all the nurses, APPs, pharmacists, senior residents, consultants, and everyone else on the care team for helping us through the self doubt and dumb questions we’ll inevitably ask over the next couple months. Cheers to a wonderful orientation (orientation vlog is up now on the channel 🙂) and good luck to everyone starting their journey as physicians! Remember that first order as a doctor, it’s always a funny one (mine was Tums lol)

I'm in my second year of med school..and was just introduced to anaesthesia as a part of pharmacology and dude!!!! I loved how much we can control the various functions of the human body via all these meds...boom ! paint me impressed❤
