Takeaways:
How to stop/minimise using filler/buffer words:
1. Being cognizant of the last word you use, particularly the last letters brings attention to word choice.
2. Employing pauses, being comfortable in the pause since we use fillers to fill yhat space. The pause and space alcan be an opportunity for time to consider more appropriate words to use.
3. Focusing on ur conversation psttner and less on urself. Be the messenger for the ideas to come across

That's great! Being concise is also important. If you can say something in 5 words instead of 500, that's a good thing. People are impressed by a clear message, not a lot of SAT words, rambling, using obscure words, etc. It's frustrating for the audience to try to wade through pretense to just get to the message.

Nice tips!

Embracing the silence and focusing on the audience make so much sense.

Need to try out the first tip (processing word endings) to see how it may help. I'd always thought filler words are linked to the beginning of sentences rather than the end.

Are you employing the word "employ" as a substitute for "use"? I wonder if you employ "employ" every time you'd use "use", doesn't it just become a longer more pretentious version of "use" without conveying anything "use" wouldn't? Btw great content, I'm horrible at speaking and am learning a lot from you.

This is exactly how we freestyle rap from the top of the head.

You preemptively focus on the finishing punch line, so that you have more direction on what you’re saying.

Keeps you from stuttering a pausing.

Please showcase some great female orators too.Women are SUCH good communicators and we have countless examples from Cinema, political and business worlds. Yet almost ALL the people your videos are modelled over and showcase are men. The women are completely looked over and it shows an unconscious bias right there. You will have a lot of female audiences wanting to see your content but ONLY dudes sort of an approach makes it off putting for us. Please ensure to give women speakers their due and make content relatable for female followers.
