Everything Emer says is true and I would agree with most of it. However, as with most feminists, when she laments that men don't have the same pressure to present themselves as physically attractive, she is missing the part about how men's attractiveness is measured by a more complex mix: their social status being the principle part, but also physical attractiveness (muscularity in particular, which requires enormous effort), financial wealth, performance etc. It never ceases to amaze me how feminists never acknowledge this...

Very well said points, I agree with everything this woman said, shame they cut it off - would have liked to hear the bit about men struggling with this too - would have been interesting.

I agree with her but again, she's nott acknowledging that men go through the exact same problem. Men are expected to "modify their bodies" and be chiseled and toned and have a well paid job and treat a woman like a queen and pay for meals and be the "supporter" within a household. Its so wrong! The other day i watched an advertisement about a helpline that supported women in abusive households. Well, hold on. Believe it or not men get abused too. There was actually a story not long ago where a man was abused by his girlfriend and couldnt ask for help or fight back because he had a child with this woman and she was using it to get things from him and prevent him leaving the house. She was so mentally unstable and violent, he lost tons and tons of weight and experienced all this abuse just to save his child. When police finally managed to get him alone and find out what was really going on, they eventually gave him custody of the child, imprisoned the gf and saved his life. They found out that he had 3rd degree burns from a kettle, scars from knife wounds on his back and bruises everywhere possible. If the police hadnt turned up, doctors said his health was so bad he wouldve been dead in 9 days. That is absolutely tragic. It happens to men too.
