so you don’t need to wait for a part 2, here’s the explanation/truth. when carl tied balloons to his house, saw russel, and everything, it was all never real. in the movie, he actually passed away in his sleep, and his adventure, the talking dogs, and everything, was all his last dream before he passed away.

actually, Russel is an Angel trying to get his wings. he needs to complete i guess you could say “tasks” to earn his badges and once he gets all of his badges, he gets his wings.

So this is the story: when his wife died he killed his self and why the child was there he was his guardian angel when he was getting up to heaven so yeah he isn't real but when his wife died his house was his most favorite thing so he went up to heaven with his house and the kid is his gaurdian angel for him to get up to heaven ❤️‍🩹 nice story
