This magnificent fortress was built by Persian Sassanid emperor Khosrow Parviz to defend the civilized world from barbaric northern invaders! Hard to believe but the civilized world was the opposite of what people assume these days!

Daghestan and darband was alwayes state and city of iran impaer in historyical. But sorry separated in iran and russia war in 1820 agreements torkemanchay and golestan langoieg peopel in darband is persian or farsi
