Creative arts student/gamer here. Bought the mid-tier model about a month ago for 1350$ Can confirm that this little guy is a *BEAST* of a gaming/productivity laptop. Something that wasn't mentioned in the video is the *significant fps increase* when you connect a external display via the display port. This allows the monitor to bypass the igpu entirely and run directly off the 3060. Worth the research if you're considering buying this laptop.

I bought a G14 last year, it has been one of the best laptops I have ever owned. If I had any complaint, it is the pitiful keyboard backlighting.... but that is easily fixed by turning off the backlighting. Lack of a webcam wasn't any issue... I just plug in my Logitech C920 and enjoy crisp 1080p video calls.

I got the mid tier model a little over 8 months ago, and lemme just say- this thing is a BEAST. It does get kinda hot after a couple hours nonstop gaming, but I use a mechanical keyboard instead. When its propped up with the fans getting plenty of air, I get max CPU of about 87 degrees, and a max of 80 degrees on the GPU. i also use an external monitor for a second screen, bt mainly use the built in one. Tho I did try it on a friends monitor, and it does get a lot better fps on a second screen. I love it

I absolutely love mine. I picked it up from Best Buy. It has a Ryzen 7, RTX 3060, and 16 gig’s of ram. With a 1080 144hz display. It’s the moonlight white version. I seem to be able to do everything I need it for. It was a great purchase

I LOVE that the G14 does NOT have a webcam. It's actually a selling point for ME.

I'm happy with gray model with 3060 and upgraded 40 GB of ram, no anime matrix gimmick. Everything works as expected. The only weird thing about this laptop was that the fingerprint sensor didn't recognize my finger at all no matter how many times I tried. So I disabled it. Now after some updates, I tried to enable it again and it works flawlessly every single time.

The keyboard did change, they changed the function keys a little bit and also added the much requested and missing Page Up and Page Down keys!

bought it, did a clean install of windows, upgraded to windows 11 and did all the tweaks from g14 reddit group and never regretted the choice. its an amazing laptop for the price.
