Really appreciate your explaination of your reasoning for choosing your shot shape/angle and hoe the wind works with/against the wind.

Its nice hearing from somebody a bit more relatable why those choices are made! Im a pure user who could not click with the envy (but have not tried a proxy). Now im conaidering trying one!

I love the neutron soft plastic for my envy and proxy. Catch the ground and chains extra nice. Although the Watt is my favorite point and shoot disc ever.

Hey Anthony! You should really check out the Thoughtspace Praxis, the Mint Bullet, and the Wild Sea otter. All really great throwers. The praxis beats in to a point and shoot and very close to it out of the box!

At the very end of your video, I felt the same way about taking a buzzz out of my bag. It was my go to. I threw it all the time. Very well seasoned and fly exactly how I wanted until it got to flippy. I tried my best to replace it with a new buzzz but I just couldn’t get that same feel out of the new one. I still bag a buzzz but it is no longer my go to flip up to flat and glide for days mid. The md1 Simon lizotte mind bender took the go to point and shoot spot.

I play a lot of tight woods courses and wanted a putter that would give me good distance with basically zero fade. I had been using an Electron Proxy and Envy combo but of course the Envy does have a good bit of fade and for me the Proxy was just too east to turn over. Tried a Plasma Proxy but it had as much fade as the Electron Envy. Enter the Opto Pure. For me it is the one. It flies dead straight with basically no fade if thrown low and hard. Also doesn't turn over on me like the Proxy. On a side note, the Opto Claymore does the same thing for me but just further. The Pure and Claymore replaced the Envy, Proxy and Uplink in my bag but to each his/her own.

Have thrown envys for a little over 2 years and just put a proxy in my bag “for fun”… it hasn’t left the bag😂! It’s such a great do everything disc and gives me unmerited confidence, glad you’re also coming to the dark side lol!

Proxy is an amazing forehand 'do anything' disc. Approaching or an anny forehand to get out of trouble, and it always does what I tell it.

I putt with soft neutron proxys and man they are so good. Hold up seriously well and handle wind great due to slight over stability compared to base plastics.

Love the Proxy. If you ever get ahold of a low 160-class, especially in Plasma and a Patent Pending one, definitely try it out. Effortless hyzer flips and super easy to carve lines in the woods.

I bag both + an Envy atm and use the Pure for my daytime putter and Proxy/Envy as my throwing putters. The Proxy is is my go to glow round putter, nobody can beat MVP Eclipse plastic.

I have a glow proxy and an eco pure. The proxy is my throwing putter and the pure is my putting putter. Love them both!

I bag the Proxy in the Eclipse glow plastic. I have owned it since I started and while it did make it out of the bag once. It only lasted 2 weeks (if that) and it not only made it back in the bag. It is nearly my go to "ye old faithful." I would typically use it as an approach range or a less than mid range upshot disc depending on the ground play. As where I might would use my inner core here but more and more I seem to just putt with it as where normally I would have used Gateways Lunar or the Cro in which I got from you. Always depends on the gameplay style that day too. Weather, day or night disc golf but I give room in the bag for 4 putters so I got options. Low key like using my hex lizzotle or mind bender to putt with too. Since I use them in that easy upshot 250ft range. I pick up and tap with them but on occassion in that 17ft range ive just used the mid range to putt with. Idk, im weird though.

I love my proxy. HIGHLY recommend the soft neutron. It is slightly more stable and it a bit flatter on top, which I love, and has a softer feel than the regular neutron. Can throw mine 300+ when I really get ahold of it
