For me it's StrongChain: Transparent and Collaborative Proof-of-Work Consensus by Singapore University of Technology and Design.
It was really influential when i was learning about blockchain technology. Also Ian Goodfellow's paper on GANs was really influential too.

James Kajaya 1979? The Rendering Equation

Donald p Greenberg et Al, 1986? Radiosity

Metropolis light transport (forget author) year, about 1995

Erik Van Jensen, 2000?, Sub surface scattering BDSSRDF

Anything AlphaGo/zero from 2013? to 2018

Ian Goodfellow et Al, 2015 Generative Adversarial Networks

Too many more for me to remember it list in the last few years as the place of innovation had been obscene, particularly in computer graphics and machine learning/AI.

You need to somehow find out where it is. Okay??? Drones?? Un-manned please. Radar drones ok? Get the coordinates, then it is trivial to strike from ground.
