President-elect Donald Trump said he would not rule out the use of American military force to seize control of Greenland, a self-governing territory within the Kingdom of Denmark. Trump is not the first American president to consider the strategic appeal of the world’s largest island. NBC’s Raf Sanchez reports in this week’s Sunday Focus.

The president-elect's statements about threats of economic and military force against Greenland and Denmark are a disgrace and we are deeply shocked and disappointed in Denmark. Denmark recognized US independence in 1792 and we have had diplomatic relations since 1801. Denmark supported the US from day 1 after 9/11 2001! 37 Danish soldiers have lost their lives in the US fight against terror in Afghanistan out of a Danish population of 6 million. Former American President Obama has said that Denmark delivers above our weight in the contribution as a US Allies. Are Trump's statements the answer?🇩🇰🇬🇱🇺🇸
