Leukosia (Southern Nicosia) - the capital of Greek-speaking Republic of Cyprus

This is my video about the Southern part of Nocosia (called Lefkosia in Greek), which is the capital of the Greek-speaking Republic of Cyprus. See my other video about Northern Nicosia which is the capital of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (called Lefkosa in Turkish).

Your title is terrible. Nicosia (Lefkosia) is the capital of the entire Cyprus, there is no such a term as 'Greek-speaking republic of Cyprus' or 'Greek-speaking Nicosia'.

You’ll expect insults from both sides from this conflict. I’m from Greek Cypriot decent, and I’ve experienced the period during the brutal invasion. Greeks and Turks see it differently, naturally. The world watched in silence as Turkey invaded and occupied almost 40% of the island. They, the Turks called it a peace operation and then never left. They see the North as part of Turkey now, and even most of the Turkish Cypriots are against that

I appreciate that you cannot take sides but only report the facts as they are provided to you, or as you stated, stay neutral

Is not northen part, is our occupied land of Cyprus Republic which turkey occupied it since 1974, is full of illegal turkish settlers and 40.000 turkish army. They forced 200.000 Greeks to leave from the north part of Cyprus Republic.
