If a DR. told you your bp was 260 over whatever, how long would you figure you had to live ? Or how long, with out any other symptoms or injury ? I'm alive and well, and years after being told ... and now, I'm on home-made kefir :) Thank you Donna, for sharing this valuable and timely information with all of us, your friends !!!

High blood pressure and glucose are due to high consumption of sugar, refined flour and processed food. When I cut these food out, everything came back to normal and lost some weight.

I started drinking Kefir a couple weeks ago. I noticed this past week that I was feeling weak and tired. Finally I checked my blood pressure. My normal BP is 125/75 and the last three days (still feeling weak) My BP has dropped to 114/56 116/64 114/62. Taking Kefir is the only change I have made in my life. So am trying to monitor my intake I take in the morning. Today I took about 6 ozs. Tomorrow I am going to drop it to four ozs. And, get this, I am still on the store bought Kefir. My culture has not arrived yet. Can't imagine what that's going to do. I will probably start out with 2-3 ozs. and see what happens. I really don't want to stop taking it. Just need to monitor my effects and go from there. I am 72 and never could take medications without having a devastating effect on me. So I don't take anything although my doctor insist I do but I refuse to do so. My belief is that a healthy gut is a healthy body. That's why I want to stick to Kefir. Thanks for the information with the video.

Thanks Donna I will let you know how it turns out, if it even does. Thanks for telling me about mixing it with lemon. I bought some spirinila and I found mixing it with apple and lemon makes it quite tasty. Works very well if constipation is bothering you.

Love kefir, you inspired me with your podcasts. I am going to try making it with strawberries and bananas, blended then I am going to put that mix in a cheesecloth and strain it through. To make cheese then I am hoping the whey will taste good enough to drink as is. Do you think this might work?

Hello. I make kombucha, fermented fruits and sauerkraut at home for my own consumption. My question is do foods with anti bacterial properties like honey, turmeric, virgin coconut oil, do these kill both bad and good bacteria?
