I got mine 2 years ago, 1.6 petrol engine, 2007, 110 000km. The car is brutal. I drove my friends diesel 2.2 and it's not the same car. Petrol on this car is better and faster in my opinion, but less economic. Really great car, rarely seen diesels under 250k.

I have Toyota Verso (December 2016) Diesel, 6 speeds, 1.6 L. I like this car very much. It is now about 73000 km. My question, how fast can I drive it? Ich have not driven more than 160 km/h because I am not sure what can the car do. What is your opinion?

Great car! I have the same 2.2D4D 136ps version (as in this video). It is very underpowered by factory settings, which make it great for remap/powerbox tuning. You can easily tune it to 180ps, 400NM (or even more) without any problem or downside.

I've had the 1.8 petrol (2006) and the 2.2 Diesel, The petrol will happily get to 130MPH, the diesel I've had to 150MPH and it possibly had more.

I was told by a dealer that the best years for this car are, 2005-2008..Not the gas ones, the diesels...Tanks! I've done 220kph in my 2.0l and surprise a lot of folks when I creep up on them on the autoroutes! I've got the full leather option and it's the best car that I've ever owned...I want to give it to my kids, and get myself a 2008 2.2l, full leather pack... I'm not sure if there is another similarly priced car out there, that will offer you the same level of performance and reliability...Unbeatable.
