The Soviet 64th Fighter Corps was the only MiG-15 unit flying combat sorties during this stage of the Korean War. Its primary mission was to cover Chinese and North Korean military supply lines in the northwestern corner of North Korea, aka MiG Alley. No MiG-15s tangled with USN or USMC aviation units over the Changin Reservoir region, aka Chosen Reservoir region, in 1950 or 1951. It's too bad that the actual historical account depicted in the movie is buttressed with a false narrative.
