Great to hear from the team themselves! I will say that this design intent is not translating to the end product, based on my experience with my 2018 Model 3 and 2021 Model Y. Even with the double-paned glass in the Model Y, it’s quite noisy in the cabin at highway speeds. Phone calls are not pleasant. There are a lot of variable factors, like location, temperature, tires, etc. but I’m happy to get in touch with the team to help determine how further improvements can be made.
It is still a fantastic product, and with further improvements it will get even better.
