The sun keeps moving constantly so how can earth be in the same spot?

The sun is traveling along an overall straight path, but it's movement is in a spiral pattern. Everything else about the solar system (planets circling, etc..) follows the sun. The thing about space is, literally EVERYTHING moves. And nothing is EVER in the same place it once occupied. Ever. That's all.

No. The orbit of the earth changes a little every year, so we do not get to the same place relative to the sun once a year. Also, the Sun moves in our galaxy, out galaxy moves within its group of galaxies, the group moves, and the universe is expanding. And space is expanding. That was a good thought though.

Sun is also moving, so earth cannot be at the same spot

Furthermore, the whole orbit actually rotates over time -- the aphelion and perihelion rotate. And the inclination of the orbit drifts "up" and "down" over time. Also, the sun over long periods drifts up and down relative to the galactic plane (crossed the plane ~3 million years ago, won't cross it again for ~30 millions years). And then, as noted, we are revolving around the center of the Milky Way. And the Milky Way is moving relative to it's neighboring galaxies. And at the largest scales, everything is getting farther away from everything else -- because space is stretching.

There are *no* absolute locations in space-time.

We should have increased the length of a second by a tiny fraction, so that there'd be no need for leap years.

I never ever thot that actually that Earth comes back to same position on my birthday. Good way of thinking though

It would NEVER be in the same place on your birthday cause the sun is also moving through the milkey way and the moon slightly effects out orbit inregular as well + were slightly going up and down too

A further argument could be made that we will come back to the same point after one galactic rotation(And this point of time should match up with the Earth's revolution around the sun).

But our galaxy is moving around in space too. So it is not possible this way either.

Also, since space is kind of stretching, does it mean a defined place in the Universe right now also stretches(like into an Oval), or do we consider that space is continuously added in the area which stretches or the area which it stretches into? 🤔 If we consider the first two cases of these three, we can actually visit the same place again, I think! I am unable to wrap my 🧠 around this!!

PS: I know that galaxy revolution would take longer than our lifespan.

maybe the birthday of the earth should be January 1 (new year) because every year he increases his age

In Hinduism we make "Jathagam" (in Tamil Nadu, India) kind of calendar specially made for each person

It is the record of positions of planets and stars at the time of birth... And "panjangam"(common calendar). With these two we can predict ....not only exact birthdays but also the past present future of the person

I’ve a doubt, in the video it said that it can take millions of years for a black hole to completely evaporate.
But how can something evaporate in complete nothingness?

That's exactly why time travel can't be achieved here on earth. You need to separate yourself from Earth, travel back in time and travel back to the position where the Earth used to be at that particular moment.

Even sun is moving at 1 lakh km per second so earth a other planets are going spiral around it... so earth will never be on a same spot

Theoretically yes It can happen if the solar system lasts forever

but it is in the same position within the suns orbit it was on the day you were born.

If if does, why is it tha every year my birthday is on a different day like for 1 last year it was on Friday this year it was on Sunday if it come to the same spot every year it would always be on Friday every year
