If you install a switch to your steering wheel. You have to go to a Chevy dealer and get the program to activate the Cruze controls. Don’t know why these guys don’t tell people this

2010 Chevrolet hhr I have checked brake lights for including 3rd brake light, the brake pressure switch on brake pedal, fuses, cam shaft position censor, intake and exhaust cam shaft actuator any other ideas on why I don’t have cruise control? It gets power to the buttons on steering wheel and the info button and back buttons work fine also but no cruise still

It is possible to install the cruise control on my Chevy Cruze 2009 by changing the steering wheel with one that have a cruise control?

Help me out here. My Chevy Cruze cruise control has never worked. I want to fix it this year before taking it on a week long trip. When I turn it on the cruise light on the dash does not light up at all. Today I took out the switch and connected it to an ohm meter and the switch seems to be working. With that should I check the brake switch or the clock spring? Again when I turn on the cruise control the cruise control light does not come on. If the brake switch is bad does the cruise control turn on and not engage or does it not turn on at all??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
P.s. all of my radio and phone buttons on the other side of the steering wheel work.
