Todd Boehly changing our club for the better

With regards to the anti-boehly overtures, it's not necessarily anything to do with him per se. There has been a general disdain for Chelsea fc ever since Romans first transfer window and Jose's eventual title victory. Going from scraping 4th place to dethroning Man Utd and Arsenal in 2 years was seen as abhorrent. It wasn't proper football. It flew in the face of proper clubs who had earned their money. Man City, who have had as much of a disorientating effect on the value of players in the transfer market as Chelsea, get away with it because they hired Pep, the Patron Saint of all things good and great within football. Almost as if its okay for City to spend 100 million per season on full backs because they're playing beautiful football. The spectre of the Glazers and Kroenke haven't helped the image of American owners in the EPL, but the hypocrisy from Carragher, Neville et al is startling.

I think a lot of sports writers particularly in England are aggrieved at the bluntness and honesty of Todd Boehly because it disallows them the ability to paint him in their own light.
The number of tweets and articles that came out regarding him as the same as Abramovich after Tuchel was fired is clear evidence of this

The hate for Todd is because any Englishman would hate to see an American owner take an english football club to greater heights than seen before. They’ll hate on him because they don’t want to see him succeed.

I have a friend who loves baseball. Im American (Mexican American to be exact but that's besides the point). The point is I asked him about the LA Dodgers, in the past 7 years they've made it to 5... FIVE World Series championships. He completely re built the LA Dodgers in a span of 10 years and turned them into a power house in modern Baseball within 3 years of owning them. So much so that they're favorites to make it to the World Series once again this year. Yeah I get it that American owners don't know nothing about English Football but the English don't know nothing about the MLB and to do what Boehly has done with the LA Dodgers is literally something you don't see often if not at all. He rebuilt the sleeping Giant that is the LA Dodgers which is historically one of the best teams in the MLB. The LA Dodgers have been involved marketing wise, politically, historically, and culturally in shaping American baseball to what it is today. It is historical franchise (equivalent to Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United if you're looking for comparisons) you can even argue it’s a bigger franchise than Chelsea. Chelsea just need to be patient, long term plan work. Negative people will always exist, but Boehly only need chelsea fan support and we are giving it and that what matters.

Other clubs should be afraid of chelsea... looking at what tobb boley want in chelsea and how he want to build.. his like elon musk building his space ship for the future because he has the money to do so.... other clubs and some English men and journalist who never believe chelsea will be better after roman abramovic dominated for like 20years... and they see tobb boley wanting more of what roman did, is like a threat to them... his building for now and the future... getting the best people for the job... that is making other clubs and owners jealous of what his about to building.... that why they keep saying Americans are not good for football in England or the world...Chelsea and tobb boley group is building an alien of football in the future... like elon musk...

I believe in Boehly and his vision. It's only when you hear about the things he is looking to implement that you realise Roman didn't really have much vision with the club and we were not run well. Luckily, we had the money with Roman to overcome not being run well, at times, but the original plan from when Roman came in had run its course. Still love Roman for what we did for us, though.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m tired of being 3rd and 4th. We have been spoiled by Roman and it’s about time for a change. There’s absolutely no way we get the best players and still can’t win the league it’s been 5 years since winning the prem. The love we had for Roman will never change so I know boehly will try his best to rebuild the club. It never fazes to amaze me how fans say there ready for a rebuild then except to win at the same time. Everybody was happy about the struggle till we really dropped points or etc. we will fail before we find the correct structure. The fact that everybody is rooting against us should mean we stick together however the hate Todd boehly receiving from our own fans is absolutely disgraceful.

Todd Boehly has my support and I’m willing to stick with Chelsea considering he has these long term plans to make the future of the club a massive success. But there’s on thing that I’ll have zero patience for. If he changes the club’s name to “The London Cowboys” then by god I am never supporting this club again.

I actually unsubscribed from the espn fc and espn uk channels for this very reason. I did that before I was aware of *this* channel, but I knew there had to be some football content that wasn't polluted with the incredible elitism pouring from every single pundit on those shows. They simply shouldn't talk about those who are smarter than them by orders of magnitude 😉
