SnowRunner - 'Alaskan Dingus'

Sunday afternoon we ventured into the Alaska map and attempt to open a road, deliver a container, lay some pipe, and open drilling well. All without killing each other.

I love how even after mentioning the detour sign at 4:27 there is another equally important sign that says "No Wide Vehicles" . But I guess that detour was trying to take you away from the road with good content in the end.

Bo : "Yes !"


It might be the ending that made me laugh the most of all of it.

Three foolish souls trek across Alaska
In search of riches and glory real fast
One is a tanker, another a Cat
The last looks like belongs in Mad Max



Three trucks on a collision course
Confusion and chaos ensue
The trio fly across the wilderness
But the team gets nowhere very soon


The ice is melted and the waters resume
their wet and frigid wrath
Though Bo and Company have skills that smell
T'would not help them to taketh a bath


"Forward!"
cries out the one in the rear as the two front get stuck on the rocks
A trailer of pipes seems destined to turn over
As the Sabercat's charge is soon slogged


Why is this happening?
What have they done?
Was this all worth the pain?
Was there glory to be won?


Arrival at the oil fields came at mid-lighting
Nary a worker could be seen at the site
The crew figured that the workers were hiding...
Ehhhh...They were probably right


With all said and done
Their paychecks were picked
The trio went towards rocks and water
Their dumb luck went out quick
