I loved how the whole scouting section sat there in a restaurant kicking back with beers and patting themselves on the back. That and Dabol with his feet up on the desk and Shane treating draft day like a take your kids to work day was absurd!

No, it was a team effort. Everyone, from top to bottom, owns this stinker of a season .
Hard Knocks didn't create problems, but it did show some of them.

Definitely, it made Joe look bad, how do you pay your qb, then 5 regular season games later, show you are wanting to draft a qb. Adam Schefter reported at the time he believed they wanted Joe Alt at 3rd pick. It makes me think they were bluffing for qb because they just paid their guy. I really don’t think hard knocks was good for the team, in any way. I think it caused a lot of turmoil we didn’t need. Not healthy to publicly say you want a qb, not only the message it sends to Daniel Jones at the time, but also the whole team.

Brandon Brown looked good? By doing what? Being the consiglieri of a GM who sucks? Schoen would have to look good for Brown to look good.
