its a cultural thing. in my country guys kissing each other and girls kissing each other is just being cordial. sure some might think it's hot if they think about it but its more common courtesy then anything ( yes european here, )

It's subjective, really. The whole "Youtubers kiss each other" era was never a joke to me, personally. I always thought it was boner-baiting and awkward given the demographic.
Anyone can find 2 men kissing "hot". Damn the statistics. As far as 'chronically online' goes, I'm pressed to find anyone who thinks 2 men kissing isn't _supposed_ to be hot... and I'm in a lot of places.
On the other hand, I've come across plenty, plenty, plenty of women kissing each other platonically or as a joke and I, personally, didn't care one way or the other.
I think it almost always comes down to context. If you're in a room full of people who know you're the type to make jokes, then with consent or enough comfort between the 2 parties, a kiss becomes a joke.
If you're in a room full of people and you're all down bad enough for each other to play spin the bottle? Y'all think it's hot.

Anyone kissing anyone doesn’t necessitate attraction or love or lust. Kissing is just a physical action which may or may not illicit a response. So kissing the Homies doesn’t make you gay.
