Why I Stopped Doing Anki

Anki is a great tool. It helped me do so well in terms 1 and 2 at SGU, but over time, it became more of a burden than a good resource. I go over the reasons why I stopped using anki. Best of luck to you guys on your exams!

Thanks for this video! I’m currently “studying how to study” to prepare to start at SJSM in September, and I’ve been a bit hesitant considering Anki, but know how much it’s hyped up and that so many students rely on it heavily. Good to know it’s not the be-all-end-all for learning!

Hi Greg! I am currently a term 2 student, and I was recently debating if I should get anki for terms 3 & 4. So, this video helped answer that question. I was wondering if you could go over how you studied during term 3/4? As well as what outside resources you used during those terms. Thank you and good luck with your studies.

would you recommend at least continuing to do BnB anki cards from past terms? (while suspending in-class anki cards after each term)

Hey! First Term Student just starting med school yesterday!

I was curious if you could change using Anki during your first two terms, would you have rather adopted a different studying method?
